{"id":2663,"date":"2025-08-23T11:05:25","date_gmt":"2025-08-23T17:05:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hyundaicr.com\/blog\/?p=2663"},"modified":"2025-12-17T09:27:01","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T15:27:01","slug":"alianza-hyundai-y-gm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hyundaicr.com\/blog\/alianza-hyundai-y-gm\/","title":{"rendered":"General Motors y Hyundai Motor Company anuncian los primeros veh\u00edculos desarrollados en conjunto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>General Motors y Hyundai Motor Company anunciaron los planes para los primeros cinco veh\u00edculos desarrollados en conjunto, marcando un hito importante en la colaboraci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica previamente anunciada entre ambas compa\u00f1\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las empresas trabajar\u00e1n juntas en el desarrollo de cuatro veh\u00edculos destinados a los mercados de Centroam\u00e9rica y Sudam\u00e9rica, incluyendo una SUV, un autom\u00f3vil compacto y dos pickups: una compacta y otra de tama\u00f1o mediano. Estos veh\u00edculos contar\u00e1n con una arquitectura flexible, lo que permitir\u00e1 que funcionen con motor de combusti\u00f3n interna o con sistema h\u00edbrido. Adem\u00e1s, GM y Hyundai desarrollar\u00e1n conjuntamente una Van comercial el\u00e9ctrica para el mercado de Am\u00e9rica del Norte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se estima que, una vez que la producci\u00f3n est\u00e9 completamente escalada, las ventas de estos veh\u00edculos superen las 800 mil unidades por a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GM liderar\u00e1 el desarrollo de la plataforma para la pickup mediana, mientras que Hyundai se encargar\u00e1 de los veh\u00edculos compactos y de la Van el\u00e9ctrica. Aunque compartir\u00e1n plataformas comunes, el dise\u00f1o interior y exterior ser\u00e1 exclusivo para cada marca, reflejando su identidad propia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El trabajo de dise\u00f1o y de ingenier\u00eda comenzar\u00e1 de inmediato para los veh\u00edculos destinados a Centroam\u00e9rica y Sudam\u00e9rica, con un lanzamiento previsto para el a\u00f1o 2028. La Van comercial el\u00e9ctrica tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1 fabricada en Estados Unidos en ese mismo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shilpan Amin, vicepresidente senior de GM y l\u00edder global de compras y cadena de suministro, destac\u00f3 que los veh\u00edculos anunciados est\u00e1n enfocados en los segmentos m\u00e1s importantes de los mercados de Centroam\u00e9rica y Sudam\u00e9rica, adem\u00e1s del segmento comercial en Am\u00e9rica del Norte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hyundaicr.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/HYUNDAI-2-Diseno-sin-titulo-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hyundaicr.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/HYUNDAI-2-Diseno-sin-titulo-1-1024x485.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1286\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abGracias a esta alianza, GM y Hyundai ofrecer\u00e1n m\u00e1s opciones a los clientes, con mayor rapidez y a menor costo\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 Amin. \u00abEstos primeros veh\u00edculos desarrollados en conjunto demuestran claramente c\u00f3mo vamos a aprovechar nuestras fortalezas complementarias y la escala combinada de ambas compa\u00f1\u00edas\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa colaboraci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica con GM nos permitir\u00e1 seguir ofreciendo valor y opciones a nuestros clientes en distintos segmentos y mercados\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Jos\u00e9 Mu\u00f1oz, presidente y CEO de Hyundai Motor Company. \u201cNuestra escala combinada en Am\u00e9rica del Norte y Am\u00e9rica del Sur nos permitir\u00e1 responder de manera m\u00e1s eficiente a las demandas de los clientes, con veh\u00edculos de dise\u00f1o atractivo, alta calidad, enfoque en seguridad y tecnolog\u00eda relevante.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las compa\u00f1\u00edas tambi\u00e9n planean iniciativas conjuntas de compras en el continente, que abarcar\u00e1n materiales, transporte y log\u00edstica.
